We worked very closely with the clients to incorporate Old World inspired design with modern smart home convenience. Partnering with Integrated Smart Technologies, LLC, general contracting by Hawks Hollow Builders, and expert millwork by E. Leet Woodworking. Typical Roman style arches are throughout the basement, dividing each space and creating defined spatial functionality. Many of these arches also incorporate additional functionality as well, including built in speakers and storage niches. Walking into this lower-level is like a step back in time with the fine touches of old-world architecture and design style, even down to the smallest details of floor-mounted lighting, panel exposed brick, and expertly crafted brick and mortar arches. Under-cabinet lighting, under-shelf lighting, and baseboard bar lighting are all touches of modern convenience that complement this old-world design. This was truly a one-of-a-kind project, from the wine & whiskey cellar to the home gym; it was a pleasure to bring my European roots into this remodel project.
