Lakefront Craftsman Home

This project was a true testament of collaboration. I worked together with the homeowners and Sera Gesmundo from Hawks Hollow Builders to fulfill unique wishes and requirements.

This Lakefront Craftsman Home features two master suites, designed for aging in place as the homeowners grow with this home they will have the ability to transition into the guest master suite. The upper level master suite is extended with an attached screened porch above the main floor deck to soak in all views of the lake.

The wrap around deck on the main level is covered with metal roof and accented with cedar posts and beams providing open access to the beautiful lake views from every corner of the house.

The gorgeous interiors feature a kitchen filled with stainless steel appliances, Tulikivi fireplace provides dual purpose for both home heating and elevated cuisine, and full family dining room.

Lake Residence

Our homeowners for this project required their home to result in a Florida-Style Mediterranean flair and Feng Shui balance. This was achieved through thoughtful design and layout by ADIDA. 

The Lakefront Estate includes East facing entrances, an open concept floor plan with lake views at nearly every corner, extensive outdoor activity space, and a breathtaking rotunda dining room scaling two-stories in the heart of the home.

Welcome Home Magazine - Kitchen Remodel

Kitchen Remodel & Interior Design for Mattawan Residence

This project consists of a complete interior renovation, furnishing reupholstery and upgraded finishes.

Opened wall between living & kitchen to achieve an open concept and increased natural light. The kitchen features hickory cabinets, granite counter tops, black stainless steel appliances in a functional layout along the same aisle. The elongated L shape with large centered island created an ideal space for both everyday tasks and entertainment.

We took fireplace from a dated green marble to this modern rustic stone statement piece framed by two large windows to allow natural light, more importantly are energy and cost efficient to benefit for years to come.

New hardwood flooring and trim cohesively tie the entire home together.


Modern Ranch House

Very clean, minimal and functional design were used to reflect the homeowners taste. This new home construction in Mattawan, Mi. was a dream to work on. The layout was the most important aspect of putting this home together. Priorities were placed on creating two master suites with adjoining home offices & a beautiful living room and kitchen to create natural flowing home design. 

To be able to make a clean, functional space - natural light was very important. Larger than standard window openings helped give this home an elegant feel. 

By using clean lines and sticking with a more modern concept to the exterior the home has a timeless feel. Adding in a walkout basement and deck gives the home multiple access points. 

Sustainability was another top priority of this client, the cedar garage doors and front doors are a contrast against the white siding creates a color contrast that is very elegant. Also adding to the sustainability is the use of stone veneer on the front entrance posts. 



Interior Design for East Michigan Estate

The interior of this home takes inspiration from the Neoclassical style. From the outside, this home is an expansive castle with beautiful olde world details. The homeowners wanted elements inspired by the 1890s-1930s architectural and interior design style. 

I designed several rooms including the great room, library, dining room, the grand hall, the billiard and bar, all in neoclassical style. One challenge was customizing the layout to compliment existing architecture, as well as designing all the cabinetry and woodwork. 

The design of the wood panels, columns, coffered ceilings, cabinets and crown moldings, etc. is influenced by my European background and was done with the instructions/ and great taste of the homeowners. They love the rich look of the wood and how the custom design for each room really makes this project unique and personalized. 

This project was an exciting and pleasant process, with constant communication with the homeowners and I'm grateful for our continued relationship today.

Lakefront Summer Home Remodel

We love how this project turned out. The owner of this property is a very creative person, with a great eye for decoration. It was important to not only create a functional space, but a space that felt like a retreat. 

The original property was very out of date, the siding was old and dilapidated, the window display allowed little view of the lake, and much of the space in the home was not being used in a very open way. The first update was adding board and batten siding, changing the placement of the original front door & updating exterior finishes and windows. Next we updated gable metal roofing over the entry door + metal roofing over the first floor windows. Creating a brand new sense of curb appeal. 

The original deck was starting to show sign of hazard. The first update was to create a stronger foundation under the original porch, once the structure was completed we added a 4 season room with large windows facing the lake. We created a new deck next to the 4 season room and added a new sliding door from the kitchen. 

By updating the floor plan through the entire home, and allowing the homeowner to use her own creativity the home came together into a beautiful home that can be enjoyed by their family for years to come. This home owners taste really showed through.
